- Security is kept confidential and the last one says crim in progress and security not started and these were not printed more than 2 weeks before. Another thing is why would one be in the final review group if your checks havent been completed.

No worries ..

At this point I believe all pre sept 2011 applicants have had their medicals expired. I think they might extend for 1 year, I will let you guys know how long has the extension been given when I get passports with the validity of the PR Visa.

I wonder if it gets to a point where CIC has to once again extend the validity of the medical exams. Mine expires on May 2013. CIC would have to issue the PPR at least three months before the expiration date of the medical exams.

@ Sharuu... If you've not already realized, you just broke a few hearts here today. I'm sure many must have been in love thinking you were a girl. Much to their disappointment. Oh well.

You should try getting GCMS shortly to see any progress. To be quiet honest, I think your case is similar to mine, you just need them to review it once and you should have PPR.

lol... It didn't appear to me as a girl's name. But when someone uses she/her for an unknown person, it does speak volume. The customary way is to use either he or he/she.

I asked for my GCMS notes last week. I also asked office of the MP to make an inquiry on my behalf.

I think sharuu is right. However, CIC told the office of the MP that my BG checks are not started yet. It has been two years since I submitted my application to the [late] VO in Buffalo and CIC never told me that I am beign delayed for BG checks so I think I am cleared.
I think CIC replies are based on our information as they appear in the GCMS notes.
sharuu received a PPR while the security field in his GCMS notes were blank (if I remember right). Therefore, GCMS notes don't tell us when we should expect a PPR but GCMS notes do give us reasons for not expecting a PPR.

So In your case, contacting MP doesnt help at all?

Congrats and thanks for kind wishes.. Wish you the very best for the future. Have you sent the passports yet?

Not yet. I will mail it to New York tonight by Fedex and add the prepaid Fedex envelope too.
Did you add any prepaid envelopes? Not sure if it's the right thing to do...
