How long do you think it will take to get passports back?

I am curious about the validity of the PR visa with the medicals expired. I have a feeling they might have extended it by 1 year so that gives me ample time to land. If thats the case I am thinking going through the Inland route.

i got nomination feb 10 2011 . igot my file number or medical 25 october 2011 medical done 26 october 2011 then 9th feb 2012 my file transfer buffalo to seattle for expetide my process then document request 9th jully 2012 .document submitted in seattle office 31 august 2012 after awiting waiting pl e help me guys if any one have same situation what should i do . i got mail from seattle 27 0ctober 2012 they are doing now your medical extenting process when they got aproval from canadian medical otawa then they contact me they ask my wife xray again she done xray 1 nov 2012 but still almost one months i have no news from seattle ple help me guys

I remember it snowed 30 cms one week..

i remember that too. Because the interviewer was telling me over Skype that they were enjoying 30 cm of snow there. He even raised suspicion about my ability to acclimatize to the snowy weather! Lol. I guess that was the toughest question for me to convince my interviewer that I would. Eventually, he was convinced enough I guess.

Your employer will wait for you until you get PR? Your field might have a lot of shortage of skilled workers if hes able to wait for so long..

Well, I applied for my work permit. It seems like PNP applicants don't need LMO. I obtained a 'letter of support' from Alberta Immigration office. With that letter, I applied for my work permit and TRV. So, now I have my fingers crossed. If I get the permit/visa, then I will perhaps come to Edmonton long before I get PR. For I can't wait for PR, as it may take another 10/11 months or may be more. Who knows? Ask Sharuu, he knows better.

They tried for 6 months. Never found one.

You shouldnt look at my case as it was out of the ordinary one. I think you should hear something soon, maybe in the next month or so!

Maybe one month and a half I think. The holidays will make the mailing period longer.

So In your case, contacting MP doesnt help at all?

I believe I should contact CIC and remind them about us. Otherwise we are going to be forgotten.

PS It appears that at least two of us received a reply beforehand saying Case is well advanced... Medicals extended... expect to hear in several weeks. Finalize in several months So CIC seem to be doing well of late. At least I am in a mood to say congrats to them !
