My friend got his first GCMS notes yesterday and under RCMP it says "Retransmission Required" and I wasn't quite sure what to tell him. Anyone knows what this means?

nothing is changing on my ecase status, any one had update yet. this wait is killing me.
i think am gonna apply for my gcms soon, i just need to know some details about the application process.
from what i read it costs 5$

Like you I have been much longer than normal for news about my immigration application. Based on the discussions pass around the forum I conclude that there is obvious discrimination against applicants from "certain countries" with a "certain religion". I have been waiting for 29 months so far (including the 7 months that CSQ application took.) and I see people that applied one year after me are getting their permanent residence. The first come first served rule is certainly not a major at CIC. That's very strange!

He submitted end of January and got AOR mid-March, did medicals right away...

I am not sure what that means, but retransmission "might" mean that they tried searching his name and some error occured and another search might be required. If his name would have come then they would have asked for a police certificate from canada.

I think the' first come, first served' policy applies to initiating of processing of an application. I won't say it a discrimination against certain countries or certain religion. Unfortunately, a few people from certain countries with a certain religion are the culprits. many innocent people are affected by them. We can't really blame CIC . They must conduct a through check to rule out the otherwise unwanted people. It will delay the process but it will also make the society safe.
