Like you I have been much longer than normal for news about my immigration application. Based on the discussions pass around the forum I conclude that there is obvious discrimination against applicants from "certain countries" with a "certain religion". I have been waiting for 29 months so far (including the 7 months that CSQ application took.) and I see people that applied one year after me are getting their permanent residence. I think the' first come, first served' policy applies to initiating of processing of an application. I won't say it a discrimination against certain countries or certain religion. Unfortunately, a few people from certain countries with a certain religion are the culprits. many innocent people are affected by them. We can't really blame CIC . They must conduct a through check to rule out the otherwise unwanted people. It will delay the process but it will also make the society safe.nima514 said:
