I am at 17 month mark as well... just hang on there, it shouldnt be that long! Once you get your GCMS Notes it should be more clearer for you.

Is there anybody who got their medical done after the march and have not heard anything yet???

Someone got their file transferred to Ottawa in May just got PPR from Ottawa. It just re-assures what I mentioned earlier that its taking 2 months from the time your file is received at Ottawa to receive PPR. However, most of us dont know when our files got transferred to Ottawa..

@Sharuu
Has Ottawa started dishing out the PPR menu?...When did someone got his/her PPR?
How long Ottawa send PPR after medical is received?...Any idea?

No idea.. what is your timeline? I dont think this person who got PPR has the same case as ours. His file got transferred in May but before they announced that Buffalo is closing. However, once it got transferred it took 2 months for PPR.

That means Ottawa has started giving PPR to the applicants who were ready for final review, that mean people who know from their GCMS that they are waiting for final review will receive their PPR in next 30 days... however people whose case was put in BG checks will wait longer..

@Shaikhaffi & Sharuu
How do one know Ottawa has completed BG checks?...And Also l heard the visa allocation for
this year is completed...is that true?
Some from the forum (South Africa) got his PPR from SAVO. He said it took him 10 days
and that is how the office there operates

you can get this information when you approach through MP or try to email the VO, they might tell you as well. I know one guy who sent an email to Ottawa and they reply BG checks are undergoing, the point is you have to touchbase with them every four weeks to remind them about your case.

I haven't heard anything like that, what i know is there is 200,000 PPR limit each year.

Every case is unique so is every VO, if VO is not busy then they will hear from VO sooner than later.

Its just July, how can the visa allocation be already closed? It means no PPR anymore for everyone waiting.. I doubt that.

10 days for ppr? from when? Usually when pr-final review is there on gcms notes it shows all checks are completed..
