We can hope so, but who knows. I am of the understanding that hopefully due date is when everything should be finalised. Also, do remember even when the due date has arrived, its not necessary you might hear before that date. It can also happen you might not hear even after it has crossed. Due Date is just a reminder for the VO...

My first update since from this year was may 29 and the last so far was Jun 10. The due date is Sep 01. It takes about 3 month for a officer to look at my application again.After then it could be another month of two to finalize my Application. What a efficency system!

Is your status IN PROCESS? I hope you hear something soon, but it all depends on when the file reaches Ottawa. I think Sep 1, is the time when all the files would have been transferred. Look at the bright side, according to your notes everything looks good and just PPR needs to be issues.

I think you misunderstood, it depends where your file is. If you file is outside Canada CIC call center can not provide info, that's what I know. But, if it is correct June 9 and your file still in Buffalo? How long will it take to get transferred to Ottawa?

Is your status IN PROCESS? I hope you hear something soon, but it all depends on when the file reaches Ottawa. I think Sep 1, is the time when all the files would have been transferred. Look at the bright side, according to your notes everything looks good and just PPR needs to be issues.

My GCMS notes say that Eligibility is in Process, Medical passed and Security has not started. I assume that is in Process. But in my Ecas, it only shows Application recieved, Medical recieved.

This is what might happen .. when VO goes around to verifying your eligibility and they put pass in front of it, your ecas will go IN PROCESS. Then they will assign a new due date and that is when the PR should be issued. Either it can happen like that or they can directly issue PR without giving another due date if all looks good.

Thanks for reply Sharu , I have applied on 8 June, my time line is same as you , application received on 13 April 2011 , medical done on 28 sept 2011 , since then I haven't heard anything from them ,

Hello Sharuu as I mentioned before I did apply for my GCMS note on June 7th, today morning got a call from them saying that as my file is in the process of being transferred from Bufallo to another office could not provide the official copy but could provide with an electronic print out, which will take couple of more days as even they are going through backlog.

Did you apply just the Privacy Act or Access to Information Request?

I ordered the latter on June 3rd requested electronic file but I am still waiting... I think they have to prepare much more detailed info than just privacy act request.

still in transition? how can it take so long to move some boxes? did they use Fedex?

This means that the next time your file will be brought forward of the visa officer it will be on Sept 21st...
