BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

I have hardly seen any PRs come through from Ottawa, I wonder if they have put them on hold until they receive all files from Buffalo. From the past month or so, I have not seen many people getting PR! Most of us have crossed the 15 month mark also!

ok, you got medical received update in your ecas in april 2012. when did you get your medical done? are in Canada or USA?

In Canada. Apr 5 I think.

You should be getting your GCMS around monday next week, hopefully it tells you when they received your file and when is the next bring forward date.

On my Ecas it states they received my file on July 1st week....

Foss: No Enforcement Foss Id:******** EA VALID UNTIL AUG 2012 PROCESSING FEE PAID. RPRF PENDING. NO APPARENT CONCERNS. DOCS APPEAR RELIABLE. RCMP FINGERPRINTS - NO RECORD - SEP. 2011, PRC PC - NO RECORD - MARCH 2011, WINNIPEG PC - NO RECORD- MARCH 2011. DOCS REQD: NONE FILE TO OFFICER FOR REVIEW.

MY APPLICATION DUE DAY IS SEP 01,2012. BUT MY SECURITY IS NOT STARTED.

I HAVE A QUESTION THAT UNDER INCOMING CATEGORY: INCOMEING 5
STATUS: CANCELLED. DOES ANYONE HAS THE SAME PROBLEM BEFORE?

Where do you think is the problem? I think notes are pretty clear and which date were the Notes entered on the GCMS. I think that would be the date it would have gone to IN PROCESS in ECAS!

i agree with you , no pprs since last may

1st september being the due date has been seen as the time they are to finalise applications for those who went to ottawa under IN PROCESS. Which means 2 more months maximum. Hopefully, we hear something soon but no PPR at all is surprising..

How long did it take you to notice your ECAS was updated after medical done and sent?

Someone requested GCMS Notes from ottawa but they responded that they can not work on the GCMS Notes untill all files have been transferred to Ottawa and a status update should not be provided before August 31st. So, they will not work on our files before all the files have been transferred which is by August 31st. So, if you see Assignment due date Sept 1st, that is the reason ..

2 more months minimum before they start processing our files...

I think Buffalo still works on some Application as I notice on the GCMS notes. There were two updates in June. I can only hope they can go as far as finalization stage when the VO transferring all those files.

The next thing you should look at is OUTGOING and if any activity has happened. Buffalo is closed they would be sending files to ottawa and your file will be finalised there. If your file is in buffalo it will be sent over and no PPR will come from Buffalo now

What this means is that your file is in transit going from Buffalo to Ottawa. I am amazed files have yet to be transferred to Ottawa. I wonder when would this transfer finish! Once your file reaches Ottawa and the VO reviews it, you should get PPR ...hopefully!
