I am eligible for PNP, but am thinking to wait for couple of months and look what will happen with current application. Currently all categories are having slow response from VOs, expect post 07/10 applicants.

yeah thats why i am hesistant to reapply for cec... looking at that forum, its processing just as slow.. and sad thing is i have to send my cec application to buffalo only..

You must have applied under FSW 2. Pls cross check it with copy of your application if you retained it.

Vermas could you tell me in which FSW category i fall.

I have been in Canada since July 2008 on work visa with positive labour market opinion and is in continuation of job in the profession falling under NOC classification.

Who decides that in which categorey are you ? As the application form doesnt mention anything.

I am now thinking to apply under canadian exp class as well.Your thaughts ??

Just got the medical requet by snail mail couple of hours back. Little sigh hope now it wouldn't take long.

I have been asked to go for medicals, am currently in Canada and my wife is back. I have received two forms one for my wife and one for myself. I have sent my wife's form to Pakistan but it will take around 2 weeks or might be more to arrive there. Can my wife print IMM 1017 (the form sent by VO) and go to MDP for medicals or she need the one sent by VO. I read on forum that people went for medicals without a request from VO in that case it shouldn't be an issue.

Firstly, congrats on receiving the Med Reg, the final approval will not be too long
People have done Med Exam for spouse in different countries without the form and didn't have any problem at all. Be sure to give the DMP the file number, they had the form themselves. Ottawa office tracks the Med Results by file number. You and your wife should be ok then
