i had sent a case specific enquiry on july, 28th and got the standard reply of "it is in queue to be reviewed may take upto 64 weeks to be reviewed"... is it safe to send another enquiry next week on august 30th??......

Finally, I GOT THE MEDICAL REQUEST.
It came suddenly and I couldn't be happier. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!
and my status is still "RVCD by VO"

Quick question, what all did they mention in your letter. I see that you are getting ready to pay the RPRF. Did they ask you that in the meds or are you just being proactive? And any mention about the interview?

My letter just says get your meds done.

e-cas status "Received by Visa Office"

Anyone have any idea on locas visa offices? Which one works fast or slow among NY, Detroit, LA ...

They want my new FBI, submit RPRF and funding availability. All of these requirements indicated clearly in the separate letter which is coming with Med Req letter in the one package. I'm just do exactly what they ask, but I don't know whether I can get FBI in 60 days ).

Your are lucky.... you received ur 2nd AOR June 10 and it got transfered to LA fast...

I got my 2nd AOR May 11 and still no word from Buffalo

I think it really depends, but definitely it will be faster if the application has been transferred away from Buffalo. You should be receiving some news from LA office soon in the coming weeks. Search for other cases in the same timeframe. LA is faster compared to Seattle or Detroit office...

i'm in the same situation.. buffalo aor on april 28 and file transferred on jan 27th to buffalo from cio.....ecas still shows received by VO....

my 2nd aor is 6th of may, still shows as received by visa office, and I believe it's the same for many of us.. and it's sort of a relief to know everybody is goin through the same thing, so I don't think you should be worried, we are all worried but it's just taking too long.. we should expect something within 2-3 weeks I believe.. we'll see..

I am in the same situation:

"We received your application for permanent residence on February 19, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on April 8, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the Buffalo office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the Buffalo office on April 14, 2010. The Buffalo office may contact you. "
