Anyway, the point is, the OP has nothing to go back to, other than family, no travel history, and has no jobs, no money, no assets, nothing else to bring her back to Philippines, so the chances of refusal are very high. It's not impossible of course, and I never said it was impossible, I'm just saying its very high. She can go ahead and try, but unless she starts getting a job, have money, start travelling to more countries, she will have a hard time getting into Canada as a visitor.
To the OP: Yes it's possible if you're successful getting the visa they can extend up to 6 months, they can even decide to shorten your length of stay, its up to the officer to decide, and they determine your length of stay based on your situation.
