Hi i really appreciate it that you give me time.
Can i ask a question?

1. when im there im going to stay with him and his family. Do i need the copy of their land title to prove that theres a house that im going to stay? and it is okay if that house property is on his father ?
Yes that would be helpful if you can show proof that they actually own a house. Its ok if its his father's house, CIC just needs to see that you have a place to stay.

Well the problem I see here is that you're JUST getting your name on the family business, meaning CIC might think you did it just to improve your chances of coming here. They'd probably want to see that you've owned the business for some time, not just suddenly add your name to the business, unless you guys just recently opened the business, now that's different. There are many GCMS notes of rejected applicants I've seen where CIC doesn't like it if they look at someone's assets, and it looked as if it was a recent large deposit, or a recent large business/asset acquisition, they will think those were staged.

You also haven't mentioned your travel history, that's very important to CIC as

well. Not having any history will hurt your chances.

No job will also hurt your chances, is there a letter from your parents saying that you're an active member in the family business?

And also, if your boyfriend has $2000, but you have $0, that will lead to a high chance of refusal, due to lack of funds. I don't see how he could send you some money for you to have in your person when he doesn't have that much himself.

- 1. its really name on me. im going to apply for trv on december.
ah so i need a letter of support that they will say that im active?

2. about travel history. this is my first time.

3. he have a money im just asking that is that 2000 cad dollars will be enough for 2 weeks. uhm he's the one who will buy my plane ticket then he will give me some pocket money before i arrived.

1) I know you will have your name on it, but what I'm trying to say is, when did you guys first open the business? Why are your parents JUST adding you now? Why didn't they add you a long time ago? Unless you guys just recently opened the business, then that's understandable. Because if your parents are just adding you now even though your business is a long running one, they might think you did it just to come here on a visitor visa.

2) No travel history, yes you're right, there's not much you can do about that now.

3) $2000 for 2 weeks is good enough. But you should have this money on your person before you land in Canada. Also, before you apply, you're supposed to show you or your b/f have sufficient funds, if you can't show any (because you have no bank account), and your b/f shows he has $2000, then you will likely be refused. Because they can't expect your b/f to be able to provide for himself and you with just $2000. If on the other hand, he has $2000, and you also have $2000, then your chances are far greater. And keep in mind too, he's supposed to buy your flight tickets and travel insurance, that will be at least $1600 or so, so if he only has $2000, that means he actually has $400, which will lead to a likely refusal. Bottom line is, both of you have to show you have enough to buy a return ticket + insurance, and have at least $2000 for 2 weeks stay, and he should have a job or sufficient money in his bank, I don't think $2000 in his account will cut it considering he needs to buy your ticket too.

4) You don't need birth certificates from any one

You just simply scan the documents into a computer, and upload the files.

That's right! If you're applying in December, you should use this time to land a job and work there for a while (unless your parents can prove you're actively helping run the business), open a bank account and start putting money in it, and travel to a few places. Also gives your b/f more time to build up his savings.

1. Why isn't the boyfriend visiting the Philippines until the girlfriends socio-economic ties improve is one thing the visa post will look at?

2. When the visa officer asks what will compel you to return home what will you say? What is so important back home to you that you will leave Canada when your visit is over? Also as has been pointed how will you survive in Canada if you have no funds and your bf has limited funds? Visa officer will believe you will end up working illegally. Add in risk of inland sponsorship (which will exist until CIC follow the example of other G8 nations and remove the in-country switch to PR via spousal route or make if a much more difficult process).

3. IMHO this has refusal written all over it but with CIC you never know. Note if bounced it will just make future visa applications even more difficult.

hi everyone, need your important suggestions,

my situation is i am an indian, studying and living in china for past one and a half year. i have a good travel history also. now my french girlfriend want to travel to canada to meet her good friend and she want i to accompany her because we alwsys travel together. although my girlfriends friend is also a good friend of mine but we never met eachother face to face. but now i am worried about the process and visa result rates of canada. i just started my business in india in march of teaching language and cunsultancy (for this i am learning chinese language here in china ) and have one house worth rs 3 millions. so my question is that can i have some chances to get the tourist visa for canada, or do i show to them that i am going with my girlfriend. and what steps i should take to make this attemp the successfull one because i dont want to see any visa refusal stamp on my pasport. thanxxx

I think you have a much better chance than the OP. You have reasons to go back to India and China. There are not many reasons keeping you in Canada. Put down all your information add the property, accounts, and ownership of the business. Make sure you don't ask for too much time. You can always as for more time once you are here. My suggesting is 2 weeks.
