BOWP - How many of you have applied and received it successfully?

How do we check status of BOWP application. Where in my CIC account do you check it. I tried to go in there and all I get is optiions to change my information

From what I know, you cannot see the status of BOWP application...You just have to wait for their approval email and paper visa, or if you applied manually, for the actual paper visa.

eitheways u r on implied status and BOWP does take time to come - usually 1 month

nothing to panic - BOWP is being handled with care by cic -

I applied on May 23 (online) and got it yesterday (June 25).

Then something must be wrong with my application (applied on May 3rd and still waiting)...

I just found out that when you are filing for your Bridging open wp and including to extend worker stay for your wife and visitors status for your son, you don't need their photo.

Am I correct?

Also do I need to fill in IMM5713 form as well?

Anyone knows if BOWP status is dependent on PR status? Say if you BOWP is still valid, but then your PR gets rejected, then are you still allowed to stay and work?

As far I know yes, your BOWP is one thing and your PR is another case.

I received my paper copy within a week after receiving an email.

You shouldn't have to provide any employment information. Did you choose "work permit with new employer"?
