I don't know why but instead of receiving PPR, I have received my Confirmation of Permanent Residence today in my mailbox :) :) :) :) :) According to the instruction, all I have to do is to bring CPR with my passport to the border. 8) 8) 8) 8)

Yes, everything came at the same time. I logged in to see my status and it's still "Application Received". As someone mentioned, they slack off and don't even attempt to ease the stress level of applicants by simply changing the status... Anyways wish all the best for those still waiting!

Finally received an approval for BOWP application! Applied on May 3 Received on July 3 Type - WP-EXT / Permis - PT-PROR Validity 2014/07/03 It took me 2 full months. I'm pretty sure that the strike definitely affected my application process. But anyways I've got it! :)

Then something must be wrong with my application (applied on May 3rd and still waiting)...

From what I know, you cannot see the status of BOWP application...You just have to wait for their approval email and paper visa, or if you applied manually, for the actual paper visa.

You can take photos by yourself. If you look up online there are some websites that you can upload your digital photo and modify according to the CIC-required spec.

When did you apply?

My permit expired on June 12th. I left the company on that day, as I had a new job offer from another company (they are still waiting for me), presuming that I would receive a BOWP soon based on the posted processing time. PAFSO strike completely ruined my plan...

I hired an agent as I was really busy at work then. She applied online. I had her contact CIC about a week ago and they told her that my case will be processed "within a month". I believe BOWP applications should be processed without delay since those including myself who are eligible to apply...

Applied for BOWP on May 3rd. Still waiting for a reply....

I cannot modify the data sheet. I don't know why... :'(
