Bill C-6, current status, FACTS only

The bill still might very well be debated in the Senate on the 28th. I'm just pointing out that it being on the Order Paper in itself doesn't imply that.

If you followed how the bill went smooth since december 2015 there was no delay no skip.
Just long holidays delayed the process

Yes true. The delays happened before that, see my initial post.

Again, I merely wanted to point out that "C-6 is on the order paper" neither confirms nor denies the fact that it will be debated on March 28. This was a major misunderstanding by many in the fall during second reading. It's not my intention to bring hopes up or down with this thread, merely pointing out facts about the parliamentary process.

from December 2015 to March 2017, I think that's a long enough delay...

I understood what you meant, but I think that this new amendment was requested by ndp when the bill was in HoC, so there is no issue once its returned to HoC.

Congrats to every member on this forum, the bill will become a law before 31 June 2017, enjoy your life ;D
