You can watch it on CPAC if you have cable,or go to the cpac web site,I think you can stream it live. C-24 should be after 3:30 I think.

The CIMM committee will also meet in camera to discuss the report, and then at 3:30 Alexander and his minions will dazzle the committee by repeating what they already said in Feb. The CIMM you can see around 6, they will post a video recording.

It's actually two different things happening.

They are discussing the Bill in the HoC. Separately, the Standing Committee is meeting on discussing budget stuff which the Minister committed to being at between Apr 28 - May 30. Today's committee meeting likely has nothing to do with C-24 as I read it.

The bill is usually sent to the Committee after the second reading (if required). I think today is the continuation of the second reading, and the bill is being discussed in House of Commons not by the committee.

As us2you said, two different things are happening.

In the House, they will also be discussing an amendment by Lysane.

They don't start any of the debates in HoC before 3 PM and its everything - including C-24.

The Minister then has to be at the Standing Committee starting 4:30 PM

So, realistically, the debate will most likely be held between say 3: 15 / 3:30 to before 4:30 pm before the Minister dashes to the Committee meeting.

Looks like the intention is to ram this through as written. As an American who needs to ditch his toxic citizenship as soon as possible, this makes me regret choosing Canada sometimes. I made the choice between here and taking a work permit and living in Europe. Maybe I chose wrong. :-[

It's like the Bush era which left the South and remorphed Up North ! :o :o scary....but things cant be the same forevah.... lets draw strength from that !

The vote is on the motion by the Cons for time allocation (to cut short debate). Their motion says they want to devote only one more day to the second reading.

Their majority will of course steamroll it through now.
