Do you guys have hope that this Galati thing is going to work ?
what he is fighting for won't affect us. he is fighting for canadians by birth. he mentioned in his interview that he is not bothered about other aspects as this point.

Is it required to sent all passport pages? as far as I know only Bio Pages are required?!

nope, they require the bio pages. but they need all the pages during test. so it doesn't hurt if they have all the pages.

It seems Galati changed his mind now. He says he will take every possible judicial proceeding against C-24. Alexander pissed him off :-).

Chakrab, maybe Alexander gave you citizenship in 4 months as a token of appreciation for the great work you do for him here :). Kidding...

Windsor sucks as far as the job market, the worst town in the country probably. Michigan driving definitely different, especially detroit. Somebody rear-ended me on the highway some weeks ago.

i don't disagree. when i came here Windsor was the place to be. It was voted the best growing city in the early 2000s, but the auto sector has killed the city. it's growing back up. but without the support of auto industry, it's pretty hard to go back to the previous level.

I agree with clause "One Man Decision" Country . Canada is a LIBERAL country regardless of the names of parties ...

I disagree my friend .. there is no conspiracy behind it and they dont want to strip massive number of Neutralized Citizens there Citizenship .. This country is not "One Man Decision" Country .. it is a democratic country and things doesn't work this way.

I disagree on not calculating the Pre-PR time and thats not coming from my personal case .. but I believe people who lived here as non-PR for couple of years should have advantage over People who just landed here, at least keep things as is (1 year of Pre-PR or 2 years out of the new 4 years total), Australia requires (4 years total including 1 year as PR).

But there is no hidden agenda .. Canada is implementing new immigration program and they are trying to improve the quality of the skilled workers who want to come here .. and that doesnt have to do and is not related to the Citizenship Act Changes.
