So I have news to share with everyone...my birthday is on Friday and the embassy called my husband today and he got his visa!!!!!!!! ;D ;D They said to drop off your passport on wednesday from 9-10:30 and pick it up friday from 9-10:30 and that theyll have his name!! I hope to GOD this nightmare ends for everyone!! 17 months of being depressed and not knowing what is going to happen!!! Love u all and good luck everyone!!!!!!!!! :-*

As i remember your wife got asked to send in some documents also, it was like what we were requested (not the RQ & Police certificate cause he already had done the police certificate) so i have a big feeling you are almost done as well!! I am still praying for all of you guys and hoping it ends soon, this is the best feeling in the world--I feel as light as a feather hehehe.

Nairyd, i want to start by saying congratulations, i wish you all the best.

As for me, i went to the embassy today and gave them my passport and the official receipt of the visa that my wife sent from Canada, they took my number and did not mention anything about the date of the pick-up, they just said that they will call me.

As for the Chinese time limit, it is shown that it is 4 months, so lots of difference between our cases time limit.

Janmin, what time were you at the embassy today?
Yalla man 2erbit,,,,hope they call you this week and you'll be done with all of this,
do you plan to leave right away when you receive it

Hello, I was just checking your previous posts, file has gone to Damascus in June, correct? If so the request for the RQ and police certificate is a good sign. I suggest you get it to them very quickly and they will give you guys the visa next month for sure!
