My chinese friend at work sponsored his wife the same time as me, his wife is in canada, mine isn't. He told me that the Chinese Embassy had a different website to e-cas, and that he received constant updates throughout the entire process. When will the Beirut embassy implement such procedures? I believe all of us just want to be kept in the loop instead of the being kept in the dark, and I believe if they did just that they wouldn't have so many upset people on here.

So I have news to share with everyone...my birthday is on Friday and the embassy called my husband today and he got his visa!!!!!!!! ;D ;D They said to drop off your passport on wednesday from 9-10:30 and pick it up friday from 9-10:30 and that theyll have his name!! I hope to GOD this nightmare ends for everyone!! 17 months of being depressed and not knowing what is going to happen!!! Love u all and good luck everyone!!!!!!!!! :-*

Nairyd, i want to start by saying congratulations, i wish you all the best.

As for me, i went to the embassy today and gave them my passport and the official receipt of the visa that my wife sent from Canada, they took my number and did not mention anything about the date of the pick-up, they just said that they will call me.

As for the Chinese time limit, it is shown that it is 4 months, so lots of difference between our cases time limit.
