BEIRUT Family Class Applications sent to Mississauga then BEIRUT 2012

Hi everyone, yalla its Friday w ya rabb we will hear some good news today.I heard they only give visas 2 days throughout the week. Let us all hope that the electricity is not affecting our VO in Beirut, that would be soooo funny if it does.
Another thing lets hope not many go on vacations cause this time is crucial to all of us. Yalla 12 days for me to hit 1 YEAR for my papers, (im calculating the day they recvd my husband's file)...w still havent heard a word.
im tired wallah for being ignored so much. Tayb what can we do?
Mesh ma32oul yalli 3m ysir for us....relationships are very fragile the first year, its either a winning adventure or a failure which ends in divorce. Like i dont understand how our govt function...why for arabs its so long....and others not...if a person is frauding, it no matter what country u r from.
God give us patience to all of those who have been waiting for over a year, and to those who just applied, try not to think abt it too much....

my file in damascus since march 2011, nothing from beirut office.
but yesterday morning they called me... the lady asked me " did you get an email to re do your medical? I was surprised..... and I said yes since long time and it will expire on first of august!!! then she said ok ... I asked that's it? I am waiting this call phone since long time......
she siad yes"
I have bellion question in my head .......... but I was surprised from the phone ........ I forgot all the questions

that what happened with me
can anyone tell me please what is that mean good signe or what did they lose my file or some paper from the file

Hey Alice, you are in a much better position than many others, well actually everyone, who have never gotten an email from the embassy let alone a call. If you are worried about your file, you can order your CAIPS notes and that should answer whether they have received your medicals etc... The only negative side to it is that it takes a month to get the report back, and hopefully you'd get your PR before a month. Good Luck

I am suffering the same pain like all of you guys, i was a silent reader once in a while, but now i have a question if somebody can help please.
i submitted the application june 18,2011
i got the approval to sponsor my wife and son on august 18, 2011
online status of my application: received june 14, 2011
medical done for the second time on may 20 2012 as beirut vo requested (plus some other docs submitted as well)

now i found the online application status been changed to

we started processing your application on june 19 2012
what does that mean exactly and how long it takes after that to issue the visa?

any info from your experience guys will be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your reply to my question. and yes I ordered my CAIPS they said my medical will expire on the first of aug. so I do not understand how the medical appears on my CAIPS and not on my file.

Now we are in the last week of June, we all thought that June will be a great month and some at least will get their PPR …
I was reading in Damascus forum and there was a link which tells the total of applicants in each division, and guess what? In the spousal section we are 300 applicants (just in Beirut) that means a long procedure ...
Yalla hope this week we hear some news from the embassy

How can i know the list of the doctors that are approved by the Canadian embassy in Beirut in order to re-do my medical exams?they were generous and gave me 30 days to finish everything or else... but didn't even bother to write the list of the approved doctors.

to see the list of approved doctors in lebanon you can go to cic.gc.ca on the drop down menu select "get medical exams" then "Find a Designated Medical Practitioner" then select the continent and then select the country.

Hope all of you are doing goood
Last week of juneeee ... I cant believe we are finishing the month of june & i feel like it past so fast this month i have a question ...my husbands medical expires august 2 what do u guys suggest we should do ? Wait until the email us to redo the medical ( & brw until no we havent received any email from damascus or beirut for anything i mean never contact us to say our file has been transfered or anything that has to do with our applucation ) so im worried even if it expires they will not even email us to redo the medical ... Do they ask before the expire date or after? & my consern is should my husband not wait for them the mail & just go do the medical exam for the 2nd time ? What to you guys think we have like 1 month before it expires im dont have hope that they will call for his visa before it expires his 1rst medical ... We would reach 11 month since they received our file on that same day .. What r the chances they will call before his medical expires .. Im so confusedd . Anyone could help plssss ???
