They sent me this e-mail on the first of May, i presented them on 31 May. My papers were transfered to Damascus on 5 May 2011, so i have been waiting since more than 13 months.
They asked for the ikhraj 2eyd individual and family, card of the military service, sijil 3adli, marriage certificate. They did not ask for the medical exams.
They said they will call me. Do you think i am close to take the visa?

-Civil registry extract for yourself and your spouse listing current status as married

-Lebanese Family List for yourself , spouse and children

-Lebanese Marriage Certificate

-If this is not the first marriage either for you or for your spouse, please provide Divorce Certificate from previous marriage

-Residency Questionnaire (to be filled by sponsor)

-Supplementary information form

Complete the attached application forms. Do not leave any blanks, and provide full dates with months and years, if something does not apply, write N/A. You must ensure you cover the period of time from the age of 18. Blanks or missing information may cause significant delays in the finalization of your application.

You must send photocopies of the Arabic originals of all documents. Only send ORIGINAL documents when requested. All documents, in a language other than English or French must be accompanied by original certified translations into English or French, except the passport.

If you are requested to submit a Police Certificate (see above), please send the original police certificate and the certified translation.

Please note that if you do not comply with this request within 30 days of the date of this letter, your application for permanent residence in Canada will be assessed on the basis of the information already before the officer. Failure to provide the requested documents could result in the refusal of your application.

Does this mean i am starting from scratch? and the best is that i am waiting for them since 2 years and they only gave me 30 days to send all the papers or else my file will be refused.

When i went to the embassy, the employer had my file infront of her, she saw my papers that are to be presented and then said that they will call me, i felt relaxed to know they had my file in the embassy.

Hi everyone,

Its normal what they ask from ajaxxio. In september 2011 they ask the same thing for my wife. e5raj ed la ila, wasi2et el jawez wa e5raj ed 3a2ile and the Residency Questionnaire. They dont ask for Military service card and Military Service Background Record, or Proof of Military Exemption because they ask that only for men. We had a discussion about that is the damascus forum in september 2011. They ask about that because when we send the paper the first time to mississauga we send the translation and the copy of the documents. Now they ask for the original ones. About the Residency Questionnaire, its just a update for them to know some informations. Its not all the vo who ask for that some yes ans some no. Before in damscus some poeple got ppr and they dont fill the Residency Questionnaire some yes.

About the time to get the ppr after sending the paper I cannot give you a anser.Just be sure that they are working in your file. This is a no rules process and a waiting game!!!

For me after the Residency Questionnaire they ask my wife to redid the medical test and after that damascus close. I am sure that if damascus was not cloing my wife will have ppr long time ago but nshallah 5eir. Ntorna ktir wa ba3ed fi ila el alil.
