Hello everyone!
It's so quiet on here lately! So I'm assuming everything is still unchanged for majority of us

I checked my Ecas today and still same they didn't even update the change of address! I dunno . I even called my MP to check status and he said he can't even call until 19 months are up! That's ridiculous it's been a year and 4 months if I count from sept... I was looking at chart and noticed one of our friends got his visa in approx 4 months from Beirut! Wow , that's just proof it's a random process....

yes what tina85 said is true, the process is randomly they dont follow the applications receiving date and that is sooo not fair and making me really sick. i wish they will be better in the new year.

I'd like to congratulate all who have received their PR recently and wish the new year will put an end to the waiting process. I can see that this thread is being so calm, I knew when Ajaxxio and Anoushka get their PR the thread would be calmer , I have a question about security check, in a reply to my inquiry to Beirut visa office I was told that they were waiting for the security check, is this process last step before issuing the PR and how long could this process take? Have anyone been told about security check by the visa office? It has been 21 months and 1 week since my application was received by Damascus visa office and 7 months when i redid my second medical. Enjoy the Christmas and vacations and good luck to all.

Hello Mazen,
You are right it is very calm in here without Anoushka's daily posts, but I'm sure she'll keep in touch for a while.
As for the security check, I believe it is the last step before issuing the visa inshallah.
In the last email to my wife, as I posted before, the Embassy said:
"Please be advised that we are still waiting for the security results, We are unable to give a specific timeline for this stage."
I wish we could know how long it will take to finish the security check.
I see you are not on the chart, if you want me to add you Mazen, please send me the following:

- Status & Province

- Application received
- Date received in Damascus
- Email for renewing medical
- Residency Questionnaire requested
