Tayb any idea how long for the security check?

We are mostly spouses who sponsored or are sponsored by their spouses.
But I happen to have the same situation as you, I have applied to sponsor my parents on Oct 17, 2007, which is almost a year after you, my sponsorship application was approved, and they have asked for 1 million papers within 90 days or they cancel the application back in November 2011, I got all the papers ready and sent to them, and the last correspondence from them was in May 2012, saying the application for permanant residency is in queue for process, e-case status is still application received!!!
I am under the impression the second phase would take up to 3 years, but you have given me a new hope they might be faster than I thought!!
Good luck and I think you should order the CAIPS notes for your parents' application!

Did your application for your parents go to beirut from Damascus?
You have no idea how frustrated I am
I haven't been able to find anyone in the same position as me so far
Anyways, what does CAIPS notes mean
I haven't heard of it before
My application did take that long
It has been more than three years since aug 2009 in Damascus then transferred to beirut in feb 2012

Keefkon? Nshallah b5air.... I'm still waiting for that golden email it's been almost 3 months for us since we submitted new medicals and other documents.... And just over month ago they told me still waiting for security check .... Do you guys think they will issue visas before the new year or because Christmas is around corner they are lazy and won't issue visas until new year?! Da5eel Allah ra7 if2a3 my sisters wedding is in January and I really wanted my hubby here (((( life is not fair

I just wanted to make sure , so when my hubby lands as a pr can he leave the country and return??? The new rules don't apply for us , right?!!

I don't know if my parents application went to Damascus or straight to Beirut.
CAIPS notes is the record of the application at the CIC and the Embassy, I got the one for my wife's application and inshallah I will apply to get it for my parents' application soon.
You'll need a signature from the principal applicant (my father in my case), and it is basically 2 forms, and you pay $5 online.

Now I am feeling lucky because it only took 2 months after RQ to get the Golden Call
