Hi Libanais,

No you can't pay the RPRF at the embassy. You have to send your proof of payment to Mississauga Processing Center (where you first applied for sponsorship) and they will inform the embassy.

Yass, my wife submitted the requested documents on Sep 13. You almost guessed the date

An emailin just checking if they recived all requested documents that my husband sent on sept 13.... And if they needed anything else.... This is what they replied ?!!!? Wth is that supposed to mean its been over a month and a few weeks since we submitted docs.... Has anyone recieved such a mean Email?? If so what is timeline and what should I expect??? ((((

Someone plz reply. Love u all best of luck I just lost all hope :'(

Hi all,
I am new to this section of forums-usually I was posting in the Amman Visa office forums. My husband is of Iraqi nationality so we were told his file was being processed in Amman after initially sending his application to Damascus. I sent an email to the Amman VO and received a reply saying that his application was still in process. However, after ordering GCMS notes, the first thing I noticed was that his application was being processed in Beirut,Lebanon??? This made me very confused and worried. I called CIC and notified them of what happened, but of course did not receive any answer from the officer other than to "send an email to the Embassy in Beirut", which I did last Friday. Now I am waiting for a reply. Also, in my notes it says missing documents for Syrian Police Certificate. My husband handed this to the officer during his interview, yet it still says missing? Should he redo his security clearance???
Tina- Don't be upset after receiving such an email. In my opinion, I would stop sending any other email to the Visa office as they mentioned. I received a similar statement from the Amman Visa office requesting to not send any more emails
By the way, which email address did you use when you sent the email ?

dont worry about it,,,i have received the same email a couple of times from Ankara...but that doesnt mean im gana give up on inquiring about my file...sometimes i just feel like these people dont have a clue on how hard it is to be away from their loved ones and they are so cruel but then i realize that unless they go through what we go through on daily bases they wont truly understand how desperate we have become..and we email them to get a clue on how much longer the suffering has to continue and this is how the respond to our email inquires.....anyways hun, dont worry inshalla ull get the golden email soon...

Hi Tina85, how are you? I have received the same email from the embassy recently. Actually there is no specific time for this process, it may take 1 month or several months, I have been waiting for 20 months for visa issuance, some people have waited more or less for the security check, good luck.

"Despite our best efforts to process your request within the 30-day statutory limit, an extension of up to 30 days pursuant to paragraph 9(1)(a) of the Access to Information Act, is required to process your request. This paragraph states that a request may be extended if "the request is for a large number of records or necessitates a search through a large number of records and meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with the operations of the government institution."
Please be advised that you are entitled to bring a complaint regarding the processing of your request to the Information Commissioner within sixty days of the receipt of this notice. The complaint form can be retrieved at: http://www.oic-ci.gc.ca/eng/lc-cj-logde-complaint-deposer-plainte.aspx."

I started to loose my hope
I dont know why they are keeping our file for this long time specially that I saw 2 weeks ago on our ecase that a decision has been made.
The strangest thing is our statut returned to in process but when I click on it, it says that a decsion has been made and they are going to contact us.

weird bro , they are taking long in this month, plus they didnt update my ecase to inprocess since i submitted my application on 22nd of october its driving me crazy
