hi guys,
first of all sorry for the mess i caused last time on the spreasheet since i am not an expert in such things i messed up things . secondly dear friends i want to know if someone had been in similar situations . my medicals had expired on the 25th of march . do u think that they should call me to re do the medicals or there is something else is i should do myself .like calling them or reminding them .

Probably they extended the validity by another year. That's a new procedure put in place concerning medical exams.

Hey Canadian_Leb, not yet, we're still waiting for any kind of update from the embassy or eCAS. I was waiting for either some good news on your end or your notes update, then give it a few days and order our set of notes again. Kind of tag teaming it between your notes and ours But I think my wife's case may take a bit longer because her security check needs to be done in two countries as opposed to just Lebanon.

So far there has been no progress since the "In Process" update in eCAS on Feb 17th and the notes from March.

As always, may God give us the patience needed to get through this!

Thanks for your reply. I'm still waiting to get my notes inshallah Ill get them on April 14th. No updates yet. We can for sure compare ours or maybe inshallah we get the email both of us before we even need to compare.

They seem to send everyone at the same time but it is been quiet for the last 5 weeks bas inshallah soon.

my husband has the visa on the passport nshalla 32bel 3and el kel
were getting ready to come back home , took aboit 5 business days for them to process the visa and put
it on the passport and they returned our pictures
and all our personal stuff!!!

hi all,

I posted last week that I sent my docs to CIC in Mississauga, I received an email yesterday stating that they received the file. Then this morning I check my email and receive the letter stating that i have met the requirements to sponsor. I cant believe it was that quick....has anyone had such a quick response?? I know that in Canada the processing times are 29 days but I didn't expect to have it in a week ....now the wait in Beirut....any news on the processing times here???

We didn't get anything back. Just the passport with an IM-1 visa....
(Although all photos we sent were duplicates that we were not expecting to get back)

We got our passport back today with the visa on it.
Visa date is 22/03/2014.

can u please tell me how did they notify you about the passport pick up? Cz I remember u said u ddnt get the sms notification and I did not as well..so I was wondering if they call or email us?I remember someone said they called them to pick up the passport..

just wanted to tell you that I got my VISIT visa today!! It is a multiple entry visa! Will be joining my husband in the summer and maximum wait for the PR there! Nchalla akid we take it before then..I really advise you to try the visit visa if you can!

And it goes on to say that if i disable the view my info online than my info will not be shown anymore and i would have to see other ways to view my status

It might be because it's still too soon and they haven't added your information to the website yet. Give them a couple of months.
