Hi, that is right, it my understanding , they will refunded our money , but do not know when they will and how much. might be they will deduct PNP processing fee and then return.roxxane said:It is advisable to hold the 7 year back submitted application till the time we reach CANADA( PR) as you never know " Any new rules" can be implemented any time..
@ Punjabi::: I don't think that it is mentioned anywhere that they have used that application fee as PNP nomination fee...Please share the link in case you have read the same somewhere..It's just perception...
Let's see...Cheers!
Roxxane.
The way I understand it, you dont need to ask for refund but it would help if you send them an email and update your contact details - to quote CIC website - "CIC will contact you by regular mail later on if we do not hear from you, communicating with us electronically is the best and easiest way to have your fee return processed" http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/notice-returns.aspbcpnpnom said:hello there, just want to ask about our previous payments 7 years ago w/ CIC,do we have to ask for the refund since our applications are considered new w/ CIC....thanks..

In our case, we filled up the form and send the form in the email provided in the website.
As we are considered "new applicants", we paid for the $550 processing fee of our new BC PNP application through credit card.
/hope this helps.
If you are married and have a family, you have to apply for an OWP for yourself and your wife if she plans to work in Canada, otherwise a TRV application is only needed.bcpnpnom said:Had anyone here applied for OWP in VO already? Did you apply also study permits for your kids? Just to inquire coz in their application forms, you have to state the school's name w/ the permit of your child to study. Anyone here tried to apply w/o putting those informations ? Thanks..goodluck to all of us
