Thank you kashifm, I'm yet to be nominated, just got my work permit approved but gotta work for a while before being able to be nominated. I just like being on the ball, so once the time's right I'll know what steps to take and how long I'll probably wait.

Hello, just want to clarify things, where did u find this deadline increase to 2014? Are you referring to the OWP application? I was to trying to check but can't find. Thank you

Had anyone here applied for OWP in VO already? Did you apply also study permits for your kids? Just to inquire coz in their application forms, you have to state the school's name w/ the permit of your child to study. Anyone here tried to apply w/o putting those informations ? tnx for the information....the instructions in applying OWP is not clear...it did not state that we have to include the spouse and for the kids also.

Hi , i applied for OWP also. But i did not include my wife and kids. In the forms, where it asks if dependent will accompany me, i answered NO.

I submitted last Jan29, 2013 at Manila VO. No reply until now.

Hello! Just to get some info since we have the same VO. Do we need to send our passports to VO together with the OWP application package when we are applying for it? Or we have to wait until they will request for the passport to be send to them? Coz i will be reporting back for an overseas work on Feb 17, 2013. Thus, i cannot lodge my OWP application before the dateline 15 february 2013 if the passports are required.

Any suggestions or opinions will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the info...I answered YES for my dependents and include my wife. I have doubts w/ my kids if il apply for them too.

Ocir, per checklist, orig passport must be included plus the old passports you have had.
