I found no reason to return your application if you dont include your dependents. This is your choice if you want to include them or not.

I am confuse if i will submit OWP or not. What if i go to Canada 1st through OWP. Then while i am there, the PNP medical request arrived, what is the possible actions to this scenario? I am in Canada and my dependents are in my country then MR for our PNP arrived, do i need to go home?

Pls let me know what you think..

I was confused too but decided not to go on OWP. Did you get the job offer? If you have got good job and you dont want to loose that opportunity and you realy want to relocate now than go for it. Also its better to get your family to go with you. Coz if you all go there and settle there than you can always transfer your file to Canada and the medical request will come there but not to the current resident country. so it clears the doubt for medical. But if you moveon alone than your dependents will apply in different Visa office and your file will be transfered to other VO and that can complicate things.

So in my opinion you have two options:

1- Go for OWP but with your dependents.
2- Wait for your Immigration and leave OWP.

Now its your choice based on your personal circumstances.

Hope this helps.

You have nice input kashfm, I dont have a job in Canada yet. Only reason why i am interested to OWP and move alone is, i can prepare the needs of my family better rather than if we all arrive there altogether at same time. I can see that i will have more focus in finding better job if i am alone there because theres nothing to take care except myself. If i settle first then, after, my family join me there, everything is set ahead.

Let me know what you think in this perspective.

Yes, I understand your concerns now for job hunting. In that case what you can do is to apply for their visa with yours but fly alone and look for jobs there. I hope if you do that you will get one soon. Once you get your job and proper accomodation for your family, make them fly to canada to join u there.

May I ask, What category you applied and from where?

Good, wish you best ov luck for your next steps. I also filed my case on 19th Jan. I am not interested in OWP. Will see once CIC approves PR. There is still a wait of another 2 years after some hopes from BC PNP Backlog project.

I think before they even issue you an OWP, they would require you to undergo and pass medical exam. Pls. note that medical exam result is valid for one year. If your PRV arrive before the expiry of your medical exam, then it is still considered valid.
