CIO received means when u send ur docs and your courier confirmed that CIC have received ur apploication. Asn as mentioned b4 since u paid the fee by draft u cant realize the payment dayte. But u will receive an email confirming that CIC have received ur apploication package and they will provide you with file no to check on ECAS status. this will reach you approximately 2 months after receiving the package. hope this clears.

Where did u exactly send ur application? Is it w/ this address CIC PNP CIO PO Box 1450 Sydney NS B1P 6k5 Canada or the other one CICPNP CIO 47-49 dorchester st sydneyns B1p 5z2 ? Just so confused coz am going to send it either tru FedEx or DHL...tnx so much

My kid is 4 year and below 5 can opt for TRV and i opted for the same.

However, for study permits: I believe you just need to fill the school name,class etc only and to support that you need to get a certificate from school stating the same you updated in your application...

Just attach one cover letter along with the application for OWP clarifing the points.

My Personal Opinion is that you should go for OWP as London Timelinees are nearly 24 months at this moment and you never know it can extend or reduce as per new applicants rush in May 2013....

Get OWP issued and keep searching for JOB and fly once you get as per your experience and interest..

Atleast you should have something in hand(OWP) that keep your interest/Morale high to settle in Canada finally...

Rest all depends on everyone's personal liabilities and choice...

Thanks for your input. Actually the 24 months timeline is for non uk resident applicants while uk residents it is normally 6 months. Also I am in process of permanent residency in uk and 10 months left in that. So not in a hurry to get settle in Canada. Also if you fly to canada on OWP that period is not counted fully for your PR as 2 days on OWP will count as 1 day. Anyways these are personal circumstances and may vary one person to other.

Hello, if you applied Study permit for your kids, did u do it online or manual coz u cant continue d application coz some info are missing, like for example d name of the school, etc....tnx

I used the manual application, for the school name , just leave it blank, and the same apply for any similar field.
