Thanks interested....did you submitted OWP? I saw 1 in Ontario forum, she so happy got her OWP approved.

sorry, i got my last sentence mixed up. what i meant was, should your VO require you to undergo medical exam for your PRV, the medical exam you submitted for the OWP should still be valid provided it is not over a year from the date you took the exam. but this is just my interpretation of the articles i read on cic website. it is best that you consult your VO through email or a phone call just to be sure.

We haven't submitted our OWP, my husband and i are planning to tour europe on march and we need our passports. as i understand, if we apply for OWP, we need to submit our original passports among other requirements.

Also, i am following another thread here that lists the timeline of Filipinos who submitted PNP apps to CIO. I noticed that on the average, it's 7-8 months processing, including medical exam. If OWP is 5 months, wed rather wait another 2-3 months for the PR.

Hi

It all depends on individual circumstances and ofcource VO dealing your pplication. Check the processing time for your VO on CIC website. Anyways what is your VO?

Thank you kashifm, I'm yet to be nominated, just got my work permit approved but gotta work for a while before being able to be nominated. I just like being on the ball, so once the time's right I'll know what steps to take and how long I'll probably wait.
