you can apply under both 2 NOCsTasneem said:Hi
I am a new member. Planning to apply within this month.
I have a question. I've 2.5 years of experience in two different organization (2 + 0.5). But they fall on different NOCs. What will I do?
Thanks.
Thanks a lot.Dr.Hasib said:you can apply under both 2 NOCs
but check whether or not those NOCs already reached it's cap limit
NEVER apply through consultants...Tasneem said:Thanks a lot.
Another question. Which one is better, applying on my own or working through an agent/agency? Thousands of ads are publishing in the newspaper everyday. How can I find a reliable one?
In June, rules will be changed again. Is there two short time for me for applying under the current rules?
Regards
Tasneem
Thanks again. I am sooooo happy.Dr.Hasib said:NEVER apply through consultants...
we are here to help you
what is your NOC/2 NOCs ?
Have you completed GT IELTS? Can you score 67 points (pass mark for FSW category)

My husband is going to be the principal applicant. His NOC is 4152 (Social Worker).
Our point calculation is as below:
Education = 25 (Completed BSS (4 years) & MSS (1 year) in Economics from Dhaka university)
Language = 14 (R & W = 6.5, L & S = 7)
Experience = 17 (Though he has been working since his student life, full time experience can be showed < 3 years as his graduation was completed in July, 2008. I guess full time experience and MSS an be shown in together, correct me if I am wrong)
Age = 10
Adaptability = 4 (I have completed BBA (4 years) from Dhaka Unbiversity in 2009)
Total point = 70
Documents we have collected so far:
1. Academic transcripts (his BSS & MSS, my BBA) in sealed envelope.
2. Police clearance of me & my husband (not for our child who is 8 months old).
3. Experience certificate from my workplace (working in a bank since Feb 01, 2010; not sure whether this document is required).
4. Marriage certificate in English.
5. Passports of 3 of us (my husband's one is old passport while my & my son's are machine readable)
6. GT IELTS result of my husband (result published on 19 March, 2011).
7. Testimonial from university (we are doing MBA (Evening) in 'Banking' together in Dhaka University which is expected to be complete in April 2012. not sure whether we'll submit these but collected in case they are required to show).
Document not in hand yet:
1. My husband's experience certificate (which is the most important one)
My husband is working in a development agency as a project coordinator since January 01, 2011. His JD fits well with NOC 4152. Before that, from August 2008 to September 15, 2010, he worked in different organizations in different roles, which we are planning to arrange from one organization as a single occupation (which will be the only face part of our application). However, he has been working with a reputed voluntary youth & student association since 7 years (approx.) and is now the president of that organization. But as it's not a paid one, it won't be accepted as experience I guess, so not sure whether we will show it or not.
Both of us are too busy with jobs, studies, baby, etc. and finding it very difficult to manage time for this purpose. Please guide us how to start.
Regards
Tasneem

something fishy !
He is not a paid employee, yet youre saying he is working.
CIC would never believe that.
not to scare you but anything fraudulent will be a prime reason for refusal.
I'll get back to your posts and write more in a a few hours.

look into the case , after sending an e-mail to the visa office regarding the addition of the new born, i gut a reply from the visa office . among other instructions , the following instructions can be of your food for thought! previously, i sent bank draft from some other banks but now things are changing ! the following is forwarded to me .they asked me to send a processing fee from the following mentioned bank.
"a) a processing fee in the form of a bank draft for C$150, payable to "Receiver General for Canada"
FOR BANGLADESH: the only acceptable bank draft from Bangladesh is one drawn on the Standard Chartered Bank. Please ensure that the bank does not forward your bank draft to the Visa Section. If your application is received at this office without the correct processing fee attached, it will be returned to you."
it seems that they prefer the Standard Chartered Bank for fee payment too.

it wont be a problem. according to OP6 booklet "educational requirement" will not be considered for FSW category. Some members applied as social worker had BSS in economics & got PER. Main thing is job duties. He/she must have work exp as social worker.imu said:Dear tasneem,
good to hear that you are applying as a social worker . This occupation requires solely degrees in social work. I have read elsewhere that some applications were refused for not having the degrees in social work. but those candidates had many years of experience in different refuted organizations. I am writing this message to discourage or hurt someone else but to unveil the truth.it seems that your educational qualification doesn't comply with the employment requirements .please go the link to see what it describes http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2006/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=4152.may be there are some options ahead !
