Ya we don't have our Passport with us, we are asked to report at the Pearson airport on the day we are flying. Our one stop over is at Brussels for 2 hours I don't know how things will work over there, since we do not have your passport with us. Even we are under deported category (I guess) would we be still sponsored in the future? We really want to see our grand-kid growing, as we raised him from the first day of his life.

Thank you for your help. Sorry I don't know your name but you have been really helpful throughout my up and down time. God bless you, and all your desires and wishes come true. I might need a help from a good people like you down the road when our son will sponsor us in the future.
Thank you again.

i didnt know u were allowed a stop on your ticket, i hope its not a problem. it wouldnt be a problem getttin sponsored to come back to canada, the only thing you would neeed when you ready to be sponsored is something they call AUTHROISATION TO RETURN TO CANADA, its a form and a letter you ahve to write to cic telling them you sorry and you want to come back its 100% guarantee wil get you back to canada, unless you have some seriouse criminal background hahahah which am sure you dont.

but it was a pleasure serving you and i hope your trip is safe and you try to return to canada one day. feel free to always return to the forum and ask anything we will be very glad to hear from you and your family. god bless

Hi there,
Received my departure certificate, from CBSA before leaving Canada. Its written there " Departure turn to deportation". What does this mean, would this hinder our further visit to Canada, as our son will be sponsoring us once the sponsorship application would be in effect.
Do you see any possibility coming us with Super- Visa. Please advise us.

well deportation sorry to say is a lifetime ban, u cannot apply for super visa or return to canada but u can be sponsored and you have to send a ARC like i mentioned above when u being sponsored.this will allow u to return to canada. and frankly this is the only way u can return

Dear all,
I would really appreciate it if anyone can answer the following questions for me:

1- Does getting the ARC request (request from CIC to pay the fee and provide a written submission) mean that the immigration application (PR, FAM, Visa...) is accepted and the ARC is the only thing left?

2- When does CIC send the ARC request? After medicals and before background checks or after medicals and AFTER background?

I would really appreciate an answer with explanations pls.

PR, FAM, Visa... wouldn't be accepted until the ARC is approved. The ARC (and sometimes an extra document) would be the last thing the VO will ask for, after that, a passport request.

2- When does CIC send the ARC request? After medicals and before background checks or after medicals and AFTER background? After Meds and background checks

thank you very much Cbn Cdn for your prompt reply. Very kind of you...
So, if they ask for ARC this means that the PR application is "othershise, other than the ARC issue" is all OK and the final approval is pending ONLY the ARC? Is this correct?

And also you said that ARC comes AFTER background check is all done?

If you are just planning to visit Canada but do not need a visa to enter, you should submit a separate application for an ARC.

And also you said that ARC comes AFTER background check is all done? Yes, the Visa office will ask for ARC after background checks

Thank you once again. This means that if you get an ARC you are sure that you have passed background checks already and you are almost there to get the PPR.

Yes, if you get your ARC approved, you know you will have passed the background check.

Good luck with your process :)

Thank you again.
What I am trying to say is:
If you get your ARC request, you know you have passed the background check.
is this correct?

No worries.

Yes, it is correct :)

Thank you. What supports this is this text from CIC official web site:
It says:
"If you are applying to come to Canada for any reason, (visiting, studying, working or immigrating),you should not submit a separate application for an ARC. If your application is approved, the ARC will be dealt within the context of that application. You will simply be asked to submit the fee."

This means that you get ARC after you PR application is "approved". But that approval is not put into effect and you do not get a visa until ARC is done and approved itself.

Yes, it is correct.

We have to know that without ARC (Authorization to return to Canada) we will not be allowed to go back to Canada. ARC has to get approved by the VO/CIC first. It would be done before you get the Visa stamp on passport.
