Anyone hear anything concerning visitor visa from Nigeria May 2,2024 when I chec their site this morning I notice the processing days change from 175days to 173 days any update???

I, an Egyptian citizen married to a Canadian, have applied for a TRV (visitor visa) from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the purpose of visiting my wife’s family. This will be my first visit, and I will be traveling unaccompanied. My wife’s already in Canada, and plans to return to Saudi Arabia with me once my visit ends. To prove that I do not intend to overstay my visit in Canada, I have provided mine and my wife’s return tickets to Saudi Arabia, as well as an employment letter, both indicating that I plan to spend 1 month only in Canada.

Biometrics collection letter: August 13 2024
Biometrics enrollment: August 18 2024

Application status: in progress
Background verification: in progress
Medical exam: not started
Eligibility: not started

At the time of application, the average processing time from Saudi Arabia read “40 days”. Now, it reads “54 days”.
I haven’t received an update since submitting my biometrics.

Any input?

Not yet. Submitted for my Mother on Aug 13, gave biometrics on Aug 19. No other updates yet!

I see the new updated processing time for India TRV - 112 days.

When I applied on Aug 12, it was 52 days.

Just need to wait and watch. Approve / reject will happen as per officer's decision.

Heard nothing for my parents' application. Submitted August 27th. Biometrics request on Sept 3rd. Biometrics completed on September 5th. Since then no updates yet. Hoping to hear something by the end of the month.

Processing time seems to have increased by 114 days. It was 56 days when I applied.
