August 2024 Visitor Visa Timeline

This is a refusal reason I received from IRCC for my study permit “Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself(and any accompanying family member(s). If applicable)” I a receiving sponsorship from my Uncle. The available funds for my travel is 50,000 but my sponsor has about 70,000 in savings plus some stock investments. My first semester's tuition is already paid in full.

This thread is about visitor visas submitted in August 2024. Post under international students.

Hi , I have submitted Canada visitor visa from USA on Aug 2nd , Completed biometrics on Aug 5th but no updates after that. Could some one with similar timelines help me with current canada visitor processing times from USA. When i submitted processing time was 28 days now its 40 days.

There case was processed faster as compared to many others.

Currently hold a US Visitor Visa and previously held a Canadian Visitor Visa. Multiple entries into both the US and Canada over the past ten years.
