I wish I knew! I haven't gotten a medical request yet, background verification is in progress.
I came into Canada from the US at the end of last year, as a visitor. I overstayed the 6 months but caught it in time to get an extension through the beginning of 2025, and applied for my PR at the same time.
I was recommended to get a work permit, so I did... at least it gives me legal status for 2 years, so I shouldn't have to worry about being out of status before getting my PR.

Tôi đến Canada từ Hoa Kỳ vào cuối năm ngoái với tư cách là khách du lịch. Tôi đã ở lại quá hạn 6 tháng nhưng đã kịp gia hạn đến đầu năm 2025 và nộp đơn xin PR cùng lúc.
Tôi được khuyên nên xin giấy phép lao động, nên tôi đã làm vậy... ít nhất thì nó cũng giúp tôi có tư cách pháp lý trong 2 năm, vì vậy tôi không phải lo lắng về việc hết tư cách trước khi có được PR.

I also received a document via physical mail and I am not sure whether it is AOR or something different because it wont contain the primary applicant name and UCI number.
But it contain the following information

is this AOR or something different? Can someone help on this.
My wife and I just got married. She is inland on a visitors visa. We just got our marriage certificate so now I’m wondering what the next step is. Can we immediately apply or do have have to update another documents. She has an NBI clearance but from when she was single and all her documents have her maiden name.
