Anyone who submitted on Aug 14, common law sponsorship having biometric request yet? It has been 3 months for me but I haven't got anything except AOR!

Yes, we submitted around the same period and i got my AOR the same day-20th of September. What matters is your own UCI or Application Number.

I wish I knew! I haven't gotten a medical request yet, background verification is in progress.

I came into Canada from the US at the end of last year, as a visitor. I overstayed the 6 months but caught it in time to get an extension through the beginning of 2025, and applied for my PR at the same time.

I was recommended to get a work permit, so I did... at least it gives me legal status for 2 years, so I shouldn't have to worry about being out of status before getting my PR.

Tôi được khuyên nên xin giấy phép lao động, nên tôi đã làm vậy... ít nhất thì nó cũng giúp tôi có tư cách pháp lý trong 2 năm, vì vậy tôi không phải lo lắng về việc hết tư cách trước khi có được PR.
