quick question - Since last week im completed on everything apart from oath ceremony which has not started. lpp completed on 24th november. What are my chances of getting a ceremony in December. My office is Mississauga. Thanks

Because the biggest determinant of whether your application is taking longer has most to do with which office is processing it.

I don't think there are any common factors.

Doesn't make any sense. If processing office is the reason for delay, which office is taking more than 50 days to complete BG and send test invites?? I couldn't find one looking at citizenship application tracker sheet.

In 3 days it'll have been a month since I passed LPP with no updates, same office. Overall the Mississauga office seems to be reasonably fast for most people, so I have my fingers crossed we'll hear back before the end of the year.

What's your timeline? Did you have to submit fingerprints?

50 days seems long in the context of the speed of other applications mentioned here, but in the overall processing timelines, it's not.

I know that's frustrating, but I'm in the same boat. My application is stuck in Scarborough, while people who have submitted their applications later than mine have already gotten their ceremonies done. It's just the luck of the draw.

I'm annoyed but it Is what it is, I don't think overthinking does anything other than exacerbate anxieties. We just have to wait.
