Don't withdraw! You can apply for PR card renewal while keeping your citizenship application open. I've heard that even the withdrawal process can take a couple months, so you might just get an oath invite before then

On a serious note.. Your PR status is not cancelled even if you PR card is expiring. If you need to travel then only renew your PR card else would suggest you to wait it out...

Got oath email today for oath scheduled for October 18. Interestingly it seems to be coming from an office in Manitoba while my office so far has been Scarborough. Is this usual or will my certificate still be mailed from Scarborough ?

Looks like Vancouver office stopped working. I saw lots of people waiting from that office. Did you tried to reply to email from which you got test invitation? Sometimes they reply on that.

Oath ceremony August 18th here! We got the citizenship certificate in the mailbox today! The enveloppe is timestamped Sept 22nd and Received today Sept 26th!
