Not everyone minds the long posts. There is no compulsion for anyone to read, and as far as I know, no rules to limit word counts. Thanks for explaining your experience about the biometrics.Hi! Sorry for the long post, I'm new to this forum, but I'll try to keep any future posts/comments short and sweet.
So exciting! Looking forward to your next update.Another ghost update again today, came with a change. Background check has changed back to “we are processing....” IP2.
Haha...same here.So exciting! Looking forward to your next update.
This is an interesting question. Not sure, but I hope someone else answers. Some general numbers for internationally located ircc offices can be found through the ircc website and LVOs do have their own email addresses. However, I doubt you should directly bother them with a query just about the status of your application, especially if you are still within normal processing time. Unless you have a specific concern to make your LVO aware of, just a status enquiry might be perceived as a bit too much of impatience on your part (to be clear, we all over here totally understand the impatience!). If it helps, it's generally a good sign if your file has moved to an LVO, I think? Can one raise a webform to their VO to find out the status of their application if ircc says they cant give any info again because the file has been moved to local VO? Or do VOs have numbers you can call to make enquiries on your application?
I completely agree with this. This is an interesting question. Not sure, but I hope someone else answers. Yeah, I cannot imagine not being able to do that! Ugh. The little things matter so much. At least for mental health! I hope you hear something soon.I completely understand and agree with you actually. One just misses when they could call ircc and get a general status of their application lol
hello buddy, I got my RCMP certificate today.. just curious to know what's meaning in the second phrase where they write "RCMP using the same fingerprints results in a positive identification to immigration fingerprints registered to file number below." did you notice this line in your certificate? The application type is "Landed Immigrant Status".If you will go to the agency who does the fingerprints, they will let you know which one to do.
Just means IRCC have a file with your fingerprints. Probably from previous biometrics.hello buddy, I got my RCMP certificate today.. just curious to know what's meaning in the second phrase where they write "RCMP using the same fingerprints results in a positive identification to immigration fingerprints registered to file number below." did you notice this line in your certificate?
Thanks for the quick response.Just means IRCC have a file with your fingerprints. Probably from previous biometrics.
Called IRCC on Oct 7th and the agent told me my eligibility status, amongst other things. I asked about my VO and she said “from what I can see on my screen here, it says Accra”. Webform I raised a few days before I called IRCC, came back days after I made that call and it also said my file is now with Accra VO. The agent at IRCC also told me to contact Accra for anything from then on, only after the average processing time has elapsed.do you know when was your file to transferred to the Local VO ? & which one btw ?
