Called yesterday and was told my file had been moved to my local VO but i doubt that had anything to do with the GUs. That was probably a system glitch.

Did anyone call IRCC after yesterday’s & Friday’s ghost updates & knew if they meant any movement on his file ?

Can the spouse travel to canada for a couple of months??

If the spouse has a visitor's visa the spouse can travel to Canada and it has no bearing on the PR application.

File has been transferred to Accra Visa Office.

Dont let the AVO part put you down. Theres gonna be drastic improvements from them soon.

@legalfalcon hi, seeing a few FSW-O applicants having their files transferred to their local offices (Singapore, Accra, Turkey etc) and and some of them called IRCC and got to know that their Eligibility is passed. So, can we conclude that for FSW-Outland, transfer to local VO happens after eligibility has been passed? or is it just few coincidences. We have 3 such cases in Aug'20 AOR itself.

For someone weird reason my medicals are not passed yet, which was also confirmed by the IRCC agent. My visa office is Ottawa. Is someone else in a similar situation?

Do you remember which option you have selected for "reason of RCMP certificate" while applying for it? I got ADR for RCMP certificate and going to get it done soon. was that application for Permanent Residency option that you chose?

The application type is "Landed Immigrant Status".If you will go to the agency who does the fingerprints, they will let you know which one to do.

thanks for the quick response, I am just done with this stuff. For me, Agency folks told to select PR application "Canadian Immigration (Sponsorships, PR Applications)" .. hope purpose is same for both options as long as we can provide a certificate from RCMP.
