Merci Petite Poutine :-) ours too went to Ottawa instead of London so I will check the London feed.

We received the acceptation from Québec and the CSQ mid-november so hopefully we'll get some news soon.

Congrats! I know what you about the joy and excitement and beaming. I had that when we got the SA and I look forward to the DM! :-)

Landed in Toronto on Friday. Was met by the friendliest immigration officer. I was able to get my Social Insurance Number right at the airport before even collecting my bags (however this is only available in Toronto)! I was given a red cloth bag and for every person I met, they added more information about getting settled in Canada. It was a wonderful experience and welcome to my new home. The wait seemed never ending, but in the end, it was worth it. For those still waiting, stay positive and keep believing. The only thing now is to get used to this cold!

Nah. They're still working on June and July applications.

Hey Guys,
So here's an update to my file:

App filed: August 27th 2014
SA: October 6th, 2014
File transfer: Oct 13th, 2014

Got my hubby's PPR via email on Jan 16, 2015!! :)

email was as follows:

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada as a member of the family class. Your application is now ready for finalization.
Please comply with the attached instruction for passport submission immediately as your visa is valid till ... and disregard the 60-day time period in the attached letter.
Your medical report is valid till ...and so is your visa. Please advise the Canada Visa Application Centre that your case is urgent due to the short visa validity period. Please notify us via email the date you despatch your passports to VAC so we can keep track. We will expedite on account of this.
We hope this information will be of assistance.

i have never seen CIC being soo direct before as they always have been soo vague!!

So whoever says that the wait is long till you hear and all the negative comments on this forum, i would tell the others who are still waiting, please don't let those negative thoughts bother you and hope for the best and if you eagerly want and wait for something and you know you are true to yourself and the relationship, it will come to you!

Even though the generic timeline for Singapore says 31 months, but that's only when interview comes into play.. my hubby and I never believed in that..

Submitted his passport on Jan 18th at the VAC, and ECAS was changed same to in process and decision made! :)

:D :D :D :D
