I have terrific news though! We just got SA yesterday! Our application was delivered on August 7th. I'm surprised at how fast this was!
My application is on its way to Ottawa.

You have to have a certain number of posts first. 10 I think.

I'm assuming Australia...I think they generally get quicker treatment being commonwealth.

I am an American citizen and my husband (sponsor) is a Canadian citizen living in Canada. He's never lived/worked outside of Canada, I've never lived/worked outside of the U.S., no dependents and we've been together for almost 4 years (married for 1). It seems like a pretty straightforward app.

it seems like being north american citizen helped in expediting the case. Otherwise, they are working on July applicants for approval.

Just received our application sent back by CIC for not having updated forms. Nice to see that they sent some applications back and asked others just to send in the updated forms. Nice work by a first class government.

Yeah I don't feel too good right now. Now anyway I have some questions. In the explanation letter they sent me they said that we all applications need to have form 1344 August version. That we didn't have so I will update it. But the letter also says 0008 June version. We DID have that version included. Also 5669 December 2012 version. We had that included. So anyway my question is why would they say we needed those forms when we included 2 of those 3? Do they just send a pre-done e-mail to with all the returned applications?
