Grats .... some London sept apps got lucky too and stayed in Mississauga with DM super quickly. I was more curious about ottawa VO since that is where my app is at. The spread sheet hasn't been moving much. :-/ seems like ottawa slowed down.

Hi there..

I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum but I just want to ask if there are spousal applicants there who sent their application August 2014.. My husband is in the Philippines and I've applied to sponsor him..I've sent my application from Manitoba to Mississauga..We sent our Spousal application August of this year and up to this day, I have not received any news from CIC.. Another thing, the tracking number for my package when I sent it to Mississauga was lost and I could not confirm if they've received our application..

Hope you guys can help.. Thanks..

There is a number to contact CIC via phone a 800 number I believe on their website. I suggest calling them to confirm that your application was in fact received hopefully they can tell you. Since you are the sponsor it is best you call and if it in fact has been received you can get a UCI # if they've started looking at it (Probably if it's been sent in August), and that will allow you to open your information up in ecase.

CIC Received our package August 22nd, we didnt hear anything until Sept 25th requesting the new form. Oct 1st the new form Arrived in Mississauga and havent Heard anything since I flew back to Canada this weekend so I can Call them first thing tomorrow morning to see what the heck is going on because this seems too long no???

Our application was received August 25th with the updated forms already filled out. We got an AOR by SNAIL MAIL and that was it, haven't heard a word since... My husband is calling today to find out if there has been a delay or if our officer is mailing via Canada Post for more information. Its a waiting game, depends on the officer. I also feel that because of the upcoming holidays there is a slow and steady decline in timelines. You are not alone! Keep us posted on what the officer has to say and GOOD LUCK!

If you check out the Ottawa thread, the spreadsheet shows that PR approvals stop about mid-June, so that is probably where they are at right now. Seems things have slowed down a bit, I bet the new form update that hit a lot of July/August applicants probably created some havoc, as well as Fall is probably a time they receive more applications.

I think its safe to assume that we are about 1.5-2 months away from seeing the first Ottawa applicants getting approval

Misbigshot, i just called and they told me that because my new form was received Oct 1st I have to wait another week because the website says that they are processing applications received on or before Sept 25th...which sucks because technically mine was originally sent in August. Have any mississauga applicants got an SA that sent a new form after sept 25th?

Our updated form was received by CIC on Sept 26th.The processing time was around 44 days and 45th day,after we send the updated form we got our SA on Nov 12th .

I would wait until next week when they update the dates that they are processing. Until then they will just say that your file is within their posted timeline. We sent our app. August 6 and had it returned for no reason. Sent it back and they received it on Sept.30. Got an AOR from them last week via e-mail. I was hoping it was an SA but at least we know it's been received and looked at. With that we finally got a UCI number so we can follow what's happening. Good luck.

Well we didnt called them . But based on the other members experience they didnt tell them anything usefull. I know the patience is running out,but there is nothing we can do except waiting. Sometimes no news it is a good news.
