I recently found the document I sent to CIC had a big problem.
I am not sure if any one can give me some ideas.

CIC got my application on August 13. The wrong document is the transcript for my language evidence.
I went to the University of Florida from 2004-2008. The transcript only covers 2004-2007 (I just got a wrong one and didn't check).

I found that on last Friday (Sep 26) so I emailed "case specific enquiries" and uploaded my degree certificate on the same day. I am not sure if this can help.

It seems I will get application package back.

Next is the waiting game...if everything is fine you will get the AOR by email or mail; if the earliest by 8-10 weeks from Canada post delivery date approximately. That will be accompanied by activation of e-cas /online status check by next 1-2 weeks. The guidebook will be mailed around this time.
Hope for the best and prepare for the test! Worst is the return package I don't even like to think about..
There is nothing official or cent percentage accurate above, but only estimations derived out from the 2014 timeline spreadsheet. If you like to update or get an overview please check the timeline.

I am a bit confused now. Can someone clarify. In the Google spreadsheet:

Application received corresponds to the day the courier delivered the email and which you could see online when you entered your tracking number.

Then, the next immediate steps are that if everything is OK with your application then:

(1) FIRST, ecas will be updated by CIC which you can access onine;

(2) SECOND we will then receive a letter in the mail with Discover Canada etc ?


IS THIS ORDER CORRECT ?

Yes, that's what I think as well. Not sure about "Discover Canada" booklet though

In my case the order was:

1. Ecas became active
2. Received invite to test in mail
3. Ecas showed the invite to test had been sent in the mail!
3. Then received AOR and Discover Canada about 1-2 weeks later!

I would not really put any faith in what ecas says about the when things are sent, or trying to look at the trend from spreadsheet. In the case of the AOR and booklet there appears to be no pattern .

I get the impression that your file can be transferred to your local office before Sydney has sent out the AOR/booklet. After that who knows in what order things can happen.

Just update my situation and hope it can help people who have the same situation.

I emailed CIC on Saturday and got an email from CIC today.
It states I can send it but CIC cannot guarantee CIC can locate my package.
It would be helpful if I can provide tracking number. (SO I did and attached my degree certificate).

The only problem is I am not sure if they already sent my package back to me or not since it is around 7 weeks for my case. I hope they haven't yet.
