Well, I am positive; at least for some single or "clean" files at Mississauga and Scarborough !

I want to join! You can call CIC to see if ther are working on your application. They are now working on applications received on August 29, 2014. Yesterday I call them and was told that my application was received on August 14 and ECAS will be updated soon. Also the agent said that the processing time is 24 months now so I shouldn't be worried at all even though I haven't received anything as of today because she confirmed that they are working on my application. The weird thing is that Fedex delivered my application on August 15 with the proof of delivery but she said it is received on August 14. Anyway, they received mine and have it now.

They have updated my status to following on 23rd of October 2014. But since then I have not received any email or postal mail. How long should I wait before I contact them. They have just updated online status of the file.

Congratulations.

As has been discussed many times in our group, this is the standard ecas message to notify you that your file is now "in process". The Discover Canada book, AOR, and hopefully a test invite will be sent to your home at a much later time (it was not sent to you as the generic status message indicates). Looking at the timeline of our colleagues who applied in earlier months, we are guessing it wont be until late January/February before we receive any more updates/mails from CIC.

I'd say be patient. No need to call them. There is already progress on your file and it's only been 3 months since we all applied.

I have applied for citizenship and mail delivered to cic 18th August. but since that no AOR no Ecase no Email any body want to join.

Yup same here. No update. We gonna call this week again since they are working on files received Aug 29. They better have found it by now...at least.
