did they doc tell you why they didn't update? I thought the only reason it gets delayed is due to Health Canada - it takes time to get blood report from them.

I completed medicals on 17th April and they were sent by the doctor around 2 weeks ago. I have applied for gcms notes now. How did you find out what the delay was?

FYI I completed my medical at Dr. John Kuhlmann's office in Etobicoke. Anyone have experience with them?

Hi,

I just called up my doctor to see if it is updated in eMedicals because it is almost 21 days and online is not updated. Then they told me that it is not updated in the system they will do it in couple of days. Also they asked me to call in 2 days to verify.

Me too applied for GCMS notes waiting for it.

Seems they will usually update in bulk like 2-3 weeks results in 1 day. My bad i was on the end of April (30th April 2013) so it was not updated.

Follow-up to make sure it is sent and also updated in the system.

Yep...now will definitely do it on this Friday..as they told me that results will come back from Health Canada by Thursday..

Hi Nicole...

No, I am not saying that is the precise factor that would delay your application. Logically speaking, if CIC needs any police certificate, they will ask you to provide them and they will give you some time.

Regarding Canadian police check - I could be wrong but as far as i recall it was written in the guide that if a Canadian police certificate is required - it will be asked. you don't have to provide it along with the application.

If you have already requested for GCMS - that might help you in telling why your application is delayed. At the same time, if you are an August applicant, you may be aware that there are still some May, and many of June and July applicants waiting for their MRs. So I'm sure yours will come soon too. Don't worry.

hi, thanks for your encourage !!!! i think i should still keep the hope there...~~~they have not rejected me yet, that means i still have chance!!!! thanks ! cross finger for myself...but i realized a pattern that, more people got medical from the end of Aug and early of Sept..... but i can be wrong too

Can anyone tell me if should contact CIC in Ottawa by email to ask if they have received my medicals? My ecas has no update even though my doctor has sent the result some time ago. Has anyone contacted CIC with such an inquiry before? Is it advisable?

My doctor's office told me to contact Ottawa to ask if they have received medicals because the lady there said that the medicals have been sent to Ottawa through the system already.
