Congrats!! Sometimes things just take some time... Do you know why it took that long?

yeah man . I think for Pakistani people. we have to go through long security checks which i believe to be the sole reason.

Have you ever ordered GCMS notes?? Were there any indications on which process took so long?
Was it actually criminality, security and background checks?

Yes i did actually however there was no indication as to what initiated this lag but all is well that ends well i guess.

Well guys by the grace of God I have completed my landing yesterday at Carway... Took 5 min... Now I think its time to close August 2012 Thread Congrats to all PRs and Lots of best wishes for every one out there....

Yes I contacted my MP several times, his assistant phoned CIC at the beginning of December and got a status update (at that time they said criminality still in progress, everything else was done, just after we received fingerprint request). It is helpful because when I asked her t phone, she called the same day and I had a response within a couple of hours, i am going to have her phone again in a week or 2 if I don't hear anything as I have already confirmed by Canada Post that they received the RCMP clearances..... best of Luck and Happy New Year ;D

Hi frustrated99 ....i had a similiar situation as of u...is there any way to contact you via email or phone... kindly please reply....you might have answers to all my problems..kindly please spare some time...um new at forum aswell
