Yes the more the number of police certificate, the time can be delayed.

Whatever they should complete your application 13 months from August 2012 in all cases.

There is no CIC requirement to provide police certificate from Canada. You will only need it from other countries where your stay was 6 months or more.

From CEC Instruction Guide-
"Police certificates
If you and your family members who are 18 years of age and older and are not permanent residents or Canadian citizens have to provide:

•a valid police certificate, or
•police clearance, or
•record of no information.
These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

It doesn't matter how many places you moved in Canada before applying for CEC.

As long as you have provided the RCMP finger print check to CIC - you dont need to worry about anything (as long as the record is clean . When RCMP gives you the certificate, it means that they have thoroughly checked your records throughout Canada.

Applications get delayed in criminality check when the applicants have lived in different countries for more than 6 months. It also depends on the country where the person stayed. In any way, you shouldn't be worrying about it if you've just lived in China and have already submitted your Police Certificate.

I am just wondering how long should I wait before applying for gcms notes. I have already completed emedicals in april and still no status change on ecas. Also no RPRF or biodata requests yet. Wondering whats happening now...

You can apply for gcms notes anytime, meanwhile if they process your application that will be marked in your gcms notes.

Hi Nicole...

No, I am not saying that is the precise factor that would delay your application. Logically speaking, if CIC needs any police certificate, they will ask you to provide them and they will give you some time.

Regarding Canadian police check - I could be wrong but as far as i recall it was written in the guide that if a Canadian police certificate is required - it will be asked. you don't have to provide it along with the application.

If you have already requested for GCMS - that might help you in telling why your application is delayed. At the same time, if you are an August applicant, you may be aware that there are still some May, and many of June and July applicants waiting for their MRs. So I'm sure yours will come soon too. Don't worry.

When did the sent their medical examination reports to CIC

Hi virajrao,

I completed medicals on 30-Apr-2013 and they sent it on 15-May-2013.

But today i checked with CIC and the doctor's office have not updated in the system. The doctor's told me today that they will update before 23-May-2013.

Will update everyone once i receive the status.

Still same not update, but found why it is not updated. Following up with the doctor to get updated in the system.
