Hi nicole1006,

Some of the March applicants are getting medicals now, it depends case by case basis. I still see that it is going as per the applicants.

You will get medicals based on your Criminality Check, Background Check etc.,

Check this link http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/canadian-experience-class you will know from the stats

Hi nicole1006,

Apply for GCMS notes to see if your application is struck in Criminality.

Can you share your timeline ? Did you submit police certificate along with the application ?

I saw a list of CIC panel doctors but wanted to know which doctor is friendly (in your experience) and offer e-medicals with fast turn-around time in Toronto & GTA? Btw, How is Dr Dharmavathy?

Please reply asap.

Hi nicole1006,

Police Certificate should have been received long back for you. I would say nov - dec 2012 you should have received the police certificate request.

Check this link for the data
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgYK9J79uze1dDEzcDNxTENtS3FCeFhLR0lOTjJXMXc#gid=0

But this is not same for all countries, countries like kuwait or middle east are getting police certificate along with the Medicals / RRPF.

Not sure which country you need the police certificate from.

If you native country doesnot fall in middle east or countries listed in the forum i would suggest you to apply for GCMS to get where your application stand.

hi, hopeinshahallah ! my original country is china, i got the non-criminal record from China before i submited my application. that means i have my non criminal record from my own country along with the application. however, i did not submit the one from Canada.
also, my friend whose application received by CIC the same day as me was asked for the additional document about April 10th 2013. that is because she stayed in the U.S. for 3months last year. i dont know whether that means my application is stuck in the police cerification thing....as i have moved so many places in Canada, at least 10 places.... therefore, it took them a long time to do the police certification...

Hi nicole1006,

You don't need to submit police certificate from Canada for CEC, if required they will request for it.

If you have submitted police certificate from China, then please wait for couple of weeks if there is no response then you can request for GCMS notes.

May be your documents are perfect thats why they have not requested any. If they have requested document for your friend may be cic need that info.

Did you update CIC that you have moved 10 different address in Canada ? If so then your application will be little bit delayed.

hey, i think there are some misunderstanding...i moved to 10 different places before i applied for cec, i think that might be the reason why my case is delayed..... do you know usually how long does it take them to do the police thing?

Hi nicole1006,

How long did you stay in 10 different places ? You need police certificates only for countries where you have stayed more than 6 months.

Yes the more the number of police certificate, the time can be delayed.

Whatever they should complete your application 13 months from August 2012 in all cases.

no no, i mean i have moved in 10 different places within Canada..... do you how long does it usually take for them to process the criminal part/ background?

Nicole...

It doesn't matter how many places you moved in Canada before applying for CEC.

As long as you have provided the RCMP finger print check to CIC - you dont need to worry about anything (as long as the record is clean :). When RCMP gives you the certificate, it means that they have thoroughly checked your records throughout Canada.

Applications get delayed in criminality check when the applicants have lived in different countries for more than 6 months. It also depends on the country where the person stayed. In any way, you shouldn't be worrying about it if you've just lived in China and have already submitted your Police Certificate.

All the best.
