if u did medical since April and still waiting for ppr, it is now right time to contact cic informing them about ur situation. what does ur ecas status says??

It says Started processing your application since June 19th 2013. I emailed CIC a few weeks ago and they confirmed receipt of medicals however no update of that in ECAS. Hoping the end is near soon.

You don't need to apply for it.

Congrats on your PPR. The officer at the time of landing will take down the address to send the PR card.

Certainly. After you receive your passport with visa, you can go back home and then come back to Canada to land.

You can surely do that. Make sure you complete your landing before date mentioned on your single entry PR visa.

from the earlier posts which I read, I think it is for 1 year but let us wait for more responses from the applicants who actually received it...I am still waiting for mine

Hi Shah,

As per my experience, they give the visa till the validity of your medical results i.e one year from the day when CIC received your medical results.

You can stay as long as you will return before the end of the COPR validity.

I have to back home urgent thats why i wann landed from back home but if i landed from usa i have to wait for my pr card right so this gonna be another 75 days now so that will be too late for me

Yes Shah, I am in the same soup.. I did the landing and need to wait for the PR card before going back home.. Its last step ... so, waiting for the same...
