Yep, that's an AOR. Is it signed by Mississauga or Ottawa? Unless it says that u have met the requirements to sponsor, then that is the AOR. But if it says u have met the requirements to sponsor it will be the sponsor approval.

Can u log onto Ecas yet and see if it says Decision made, under the sponsor part?

In the second stage AOR, it was titled with my husband's name (applicant) and it had info about the processing times for my visa office. It mentioned what will happen if an interview is required, how interpreters work, what I should let them know about if there are changes in our situation, preparing yourself for immigration (like employment, etc). That's about it. Good luck with your second stage! I think now comes my long long wait without hearing anything...

I cant still log in to ecas thats the sad part haha but just happy that i got an email from them they're just telling that they've received our application. What are the stages of AOR? Woah lots? Have no idea about it where can i read more about that? And thank you so much!!

AOR from Mississauga-- then should come sponsor approval from Mississauga-- then sometimes, depending on the visa office u can get an AOR from your visa office (but many vo don't give aors)-- and from there it's just correspondence from the visa officers and if they require anything or schedule an interivew or request the passport, etc.... This is the last AOR I will receive until I hear something from a visa officers, hopefully just asking for the passport to issue my husband's visa!

aw. :9 Did you try calling the CIC hotline? Yours are beyond the 43days and they working now on September applicants.

Yes, my sponsor. Cic hotline agent said that our sponsorship ws approved and its sent to my VO. Try to call them.

Hey friends....I just went through the CIC website and they have updated the processing time as "43 days - Working on applications received on September 12, 2012"....

Mine was received by CIC on 15th August, 2012, but till date no approval...AOR came on 21st September, 2012....If anybody has any idea whats going on???

having read other peoples posts...this is very common emails and letters get lost. Your approval was prob the same day or within 2 days after. Give the call centre a call Monday morning. I am sure they will tell you your file left for your VO in Sep.
