Definitely....even i feel like that calling the customer care is the only available option left now...as it has been a long time since we received the AOR....Hey tink23 its just an AOR as it just says that your application was received by CIC on such and such date....thats it....

My status on Ecas is just being shown as 'Your documents were received on 15th August, 2012' thats it....nothing else....i think i should try calling the customer care to cross check the status....

Yes I do got my file number....the online Ecas shows that the documents were received on 15th August, 2012...nothing else... :(

Does anybody knows about the latest update regarding the applications submitted during the 2nd and 3rd week of August, 2012. Mine was submitted on 15th August, 2012 but nothing has been heard from the Mississauga Embassy as yet. If anybody has any latest update, kindly share. Thanks in advance.

Thanks tahsinmohammad for the reply. We are a bit restless due to the fact that she is pregnant and we are going to have a baby in December, 2012 and we heard from someone that preference is given to such cases, but in our case it doesn't looks like so....do you have any idea about this?
