munchkin80....50-50 as to whether it is email or snail mail for the approval....all aor's are by email so that doesn't help....but usually within 2 days to 2 weeks of receiving aor one gets sponsorship approval!!!! so not to much longer.....

hey guys, I'm going crazy over here lol...i have a question if a canadian permanent resident and a canadian citizen have a baby that was born outside canada doesn't need to be sponsored...since his father is canadian citizen and his mom is permanent resident...?????????????????????

The child is Canadian since his father is Canadian. No need to sponsor the child.

This was being talked about on the June thread. Don't click it or u won't be able to. Check your status on ecas. I'm not sure how the problem was fixed so u might want to see what they're saying about it now.

Congrats to all of the August folk who have received their AOR's and approvals! It's pretty exciting.

I keep thinking how lucky it is to get processed far ahead of their processing times. It seems like August is doing well. Though this is a very small sample of who is applying for sponsorship, it looks great! Maybe the government is picking up the speed.
